Job Description:
A 20 year old firm with numerous contracts in the federal area for environmental services, engineering, compliance, demolition and vertical construction. This position is critical to our continued success in preparing concise, relevant and compliant proposals for both contracts and task order RFPs. Support staff is available to assist this position in developing and producing proposal submittals. Relocation is required and will be compensated. Need a hard driving, organized proposal professional to work on multiple proposals simultaneously and ensure consistency in format, accuracy and quality. Tech editor support is provided. This is a growing small business- headquartered in Birmingham, with significant opportunities for advancement and compensation. Salary is negotiable based on experience level. Responsibilities:
Function: Proposal/Marketing Manager reporting to the COO. Assists in the identification of engineering, environmental and construction opportunities focused on the Federal (DOD) arena. Leads proposal team in developing schedules for reviews, assignments for proposal tasks, ensure the proposal team is making progress against deadlines, assist in developing win themes for proposals, work with teaming partners to ensure compliance with "data calls", format proposals and direct production. Participate in Go-No Go pursuits meetings and provide solicitation summaries in advance of meetings. Drive the proposal process to completion and in compliance with the SOW requirements.
Minimum Education: Undergraduate degree in a related field such as business, marketing, graphic design, engineering or similar.
Experience: Exemplary organizational skills and proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Corel Draw, Photoshop and other standard publication software. 10 years experience.
