Job/Position Summary: The Proposal Manager is responsible for developing and implementing sales proposal quality standards including process and response standards. This position will also manage the day-to-day scheduling and coordination of resources to ensure sales proposals are completed according to sales strategies, proposal specifications and quality standards. The Proposal Manager will report to the Vice President of Marketing and will supervise the Proposal Production Coordinator relevant to sales proposal production issues.
Key Accountabilities/Essential Functions:

1. Develop and implement sales proposal standards including process and response standards and tools in order to stream-line and improve the proposal process.

2. Manage the sales proposal process for multiple, concurrent proposals including establishing response schedules, identifying response contributors, and monitoring response progress.

3. Partner with Sales Executives to communicate sales proposal strategy to response contributors and ensure strategy is applied throughout proposal response including editing and review of proposals prior to submission.

4. Serve as first point of contact for sales proposal response, including acting as a liaison between Sales Executives and response contributors..
|
|
5. Coordinate Stratix partner response strategies and issue in conjunction with Sales Executives.

6. Develop and implement sales proposal communication strategy that incorporates the needs of the Sales, Sales Support and Customer Services groups.
|
|
7. Develop and maintain sales proposal templates for general and industry-specific use including responding to high level functional questions included in sales proposal requests.
|
|
8. Partner with Corporate Product Managers to develop and implement multi-channel sales proposal systems and tools.
|
|
9. Establish and monitor tools by which the overall Proposal Team progress and success can be measured.
