Director of Proposal Development
Job Description:
This is a new position and will be responsible for overseeing Proposal Development and Technical Documentation, assisting Sales and Product Management with proposal strategies, coordinate with Product Management and Sales to prioritize Technical Documentation and Proposal development and responsible for managing and improving the Proposal and Technical Documentation processes. This professional will manage several people directly and also have Project Management responsibilities during proposal developments. Our client is a leader in the Demand Response and Energy Efficiency Industry providing Smart Grid solutions to Utilities and their residential and commercial customers.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the quality and timeliness of our client's RFP and RFI responses which leads directly to a large percentage of company revenue. Candidates must demonstrate strong business writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to work with senior level Sales, Company Partners, Product Management, Operations, Marketing and Legal experts in a matrix environment. Director must have the aptitude and background to become an export in their software, hardware and systems solutions.
Minimum Education:
Bachelors Degree or higher in Engineering or related technical field
Experience:
10 years experience in Technical proposal generation and documentation
