Mitch Reed, PPM.APMP is the Director of Proposal Development for VT Griffin Services which provides Base Operations Services and Logistics Support for the Department of Defense and US Government Agencies. Starting at VT Griffin and previous positions, Mitch had the responsibility to set up and manage three corporate proposal and technical writing groups and supported the creation of one specialized proposal group. For the last two groups, Applying over 15 years of experience, Mitch was responsible for the development of processes and procedures and successfully achieved ISO 9000:2001 certification. Author of the book “Developing Successful Internet Request for Proposals,” Mitch presented "What Proposal Mangers should expect from an RFP" to the Atlanta Chapter in 2003, co-presented "Institutionalizing Proposal Best Practices into ISO, and CMM Processes” and “Managing Inter-Departmental Communications for Proposal Development” at APMP International Conferences. Mitch has a B.S. in Management and a MBA from Shorter University in Rome, Georgia.
