SPAC Was a GREAT Success!
The Georgia Chattahoochee, Carolinas, and Florida Sunshine APMP chapters co-hosted the 15th Annual
Southern Proposal Accents Conference (SPAC) at the Westin Peachtree Plaza hotel in downtown Atlanta on
Thursday, October 27, 2011. SPAC was a full-day event featuring presentations by proposal and business development professionals. The conference theme for SPAC is:
"Great Proposal Cook-off: Recipes for Winning!"
We thank our SPAC presenters for their gourmet feast of savory ideas and juicy tips and tricks. The SPAC presenters list included a strong mix of speakers representing the host chapters and some of the best known "names" in the proposal profession.

APMP Accreditation Headquarters (AHQ) at SPAC
A large number of SPAC attendees, who had been considering APMP accreditation, were able to meet with Charlie Divine, APMP Accreditation Director, who conducted an Accreditation Headquarters (AHQ) exhibit at SPAC. Charlie provided attendees with individual advice and counsel on achieving APMP Foundation, Practitioner, and Professional Accreditation.
There was an additional benefit for professionals who attended SPAC. They were able to help satisfy a requirement of maintaining APMP accreditation in the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program. They were able to demonstrate ongoing commitment to their career growth by earning Continuing Education Units (CEUs). SPAC attendees earned 10 CEUs, and conference speakers earned an additional 10 CEUs. For more information, please refer to the APMP Accreditation CPD Guidelines.
