Georgia Chattahoochee Chapter of the APMP

Welcome to our Georgia Chattahoochee Chapter Website 
The Georgia Chattahoochee Chapter of the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) is one of the oldest and most active APMP chapters. Chartered in 1994, the Georgia Chattahoochee APMP Chapter has earned a reputation as an innovative, active local organization. Our 118+ members come from Atlanta, other parts of Georgia and neighboring states. The chapter holds five dinner meetings a year in northwest Atlanta and has hosted the Southern Proposal Accents Conference (SPAC) for fifteen years, co-hosting with the Carolina APMP chapter for the past eight years and, most recently, the Florida Sunshine Chapter.

Our Chapter meetings include valuable educational programs and an opportunity to network with peers in the proposal profession. Meetings for the Georgia Chattahoochee Chapter are normally scheduled for the second Wednesday of the month. We meet in January, March, May, July, and September. For information on our next meeting, click here.  All meetings take place at the Crowne Plaza (Powers Ferry) in Atlanta, GA.
The Georgia Chattahoochee Chapter contributes strongly to the overall mission of APMP. Members of our chapter have filled several different leadership positions on the APMP Board of Directors. A number of Georgia Chattahoochee members have made presentations at APMP Annual Conferences. Other members have been published in the APMP Journal. Our chapter has been recognized with multiple APMP Innovation Awards and Chapter of the Year Awards. Several of our chapter chairs have received the APMP Leadership Award for their service to the local chapter and to APMP.

GA Chattahoochee Chapter Presented Membership Award at National APMP Conference 
At the 2010 APMP International Conference held in Orlando, FL, the Georgia Chattahoochee Chapter received the 2009 Membership Award. This award is given to the Chapter that shows outstanding performance in increasing membership during the preceding calendar year. We welcome any proposal professional from the Southeast to participate in our active program and become a member of the Georgia Chattahoochee APMP chapter.

Georgia, Florida and Carolina Chapters Win Special Events Award (SPAC)
At the 2010 APMP International Conference in Orlando, the Carolinas, Georgia Chattahoochee, and Florida Sunshine chapters received the APMP Special Event award for the 2009 Southern Proposal Accents Conference. This award recognizes the continued success of the SPAC as a regional learning and networking event for proposal professionals. Congratulations to all of the 2009 SPAC committee members!
